Since it's about to be 2025, figured I'd share some things I have planned for my site.

The most obvious one is adding more character pages since there's only been the one since September(?! the past few months fucking flew by), obviously continuing it with Sam since they're the next character and I'll just go in order from there.

Another thing is adding some more sections to it, the I have two in mind, the first one would be like a sorta editorial section, used for things I wanna talk in depth about, like my taste in music, my PSP, my collections of stuff, games I play, and so on. The other is a page for other things I've done, like my stuff prior to making art, pages about work I've done for games (or actual games I've done), like my custom soundtracks for THUG Pro and the custom songs I've made for Rock Band 3, or really anything else that I've created.

The last main thing I have in mind is changing the background of the site, the current one I have is good but I was thinking of doing something a bit simpler, and something that upscales and downscales better for different resolutions, still keeping the sorta grungy Y2K look but just making it a bit less "busy" if that makes sense.

Anyway, that's it, see y'all in 2025, got about 2 hours left over here until it's midnight.

I've spent the past couple hours overhauling my personal site and figured I'd share it here. It's not like I massively redesigned it or anything, I just gave it much needed updates and improved several aspects of it. For starters, the main navigation is actual buttons instead of just being plain text links, the art archive has appropriate graphics for each year and navigation buttons, as previously you had to go back to a previous page if you wanted to see another year, where now you can just click "next" and get sent to the next year's art. The "about" page was further expanded with more info about me and my interests, the blog got expanded to showing 15 max posts (as the RSS embedder doesn't show descriptions due to the old one breaking, so made it not show images as it made the page massive), and biggest of all, I FINALLY started working on the characters pages, I've only done one right now but more will be done over the next few months. The only thing that wasn't updated would be the links page, and that's because it doesn't need updating, lmao

To explain what that title means, it feels like old websites (from like 2000-2004) are just a mess code-wise of "table", "tr", "td", "td", etc. etc. instead of being more concise or finding a better way to get a similar visual look, it's all tables upon tables to get everything aligned in one big block basically. Admittedly though I'm not a total genius when it comes to understanding HTML/CSS and how to get the absolute best look, but there must've been something else done to get the look that certain sites were going for. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, just look at THIS: That's for EVERY. SINGLE. ELEMENT on the page. Absolute insanity.
